For the third year in a row, EPPNE (Ensemble pour proteger nos enfants) is having a protest against “gender ideology” in schools on September 20th.

EPPNE is part of a broader right-wing project. In their mission statement, they:

1. Defend Jordan Peterson’s misgendering of his patients

2. Called the presence of a non-profit queer support group “indoctrination”

3. Oppose children books with gay parents in them

We are the (queer) kids that EPPNE claims to represent: we’re what’s left out when you only speak to parents. Their transphobic public campaigns will be met with trans and anti-fascist resistance. Trans, antifa, queer comrades and allies, come out in numbers!

At previous protests, trans participants have been victims of hate speech – jeered at, called slurs, maliciously misgendered, and physically assaulted. That’s why this year we’re asking allies to show up in force! If you identify as one, join us and hold space. 

You’re encouraged to show up in queer bloc! Be colorful, be gay, but wear a mask! Bring what you think you will need for your safety and that of others.
